The All New ONE RUN CLUB

As many of you know - Virginia Turtle is going mainly digital. However, a few ladies and myself have partnered to create "The One Run Club".

TORC is an exclusive group, where you can buy physical stamps that are limited edition. There is a new set each month with matching sequin mixes.

The appeal and "catch" to TORC is that you & 39 others are the only people IN THE WORLD to own that stamp set. It can only be purchased through the club and it is limited.

Feel free to join our Facebook group called One Run Club to check out what we will be offering.

Wine Tag and Gelato Background Tutorial

Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday!!  Deb 1 here sharing a Wine Tag featuring the "Cheers" stamp set from Virginia Turtle Stamps!  I will be using tags like this to give wine to my "hard to buy for" family and friends.

The background of the tag, was made using Gelatos.  Gelatos are a great product and very easy to use.  This is only one of the many ways to use this product and it's quick and easy to do!

The supplies you will need are:  Watercolor paper, Gelatos (your choice of colors), and baby wipes.

Take a piece of paper and one of the gelatos and just start scribbling a section about 3-4" in height.  I start at the bottom and work up, using the darkest color first and work up to the lighest.  After the first color is on, do the same with the next color, just scribble a section, then pick up the third color, and scribble that on.  When you are done, your paper should look something like this.
The next step is to take a baby wipe to start blending the color.  I begin at the bottom and blend the colors up, but it is personal preference.  It doesn't matter if you start at the top or the bottom.  So what you do is just take your baby wipe and wipe it back and forth over the color.  Do not press too hard or you will remove all of the color.  You can also go in circular motion too.
When you get to the second color, just blend it in with the first and continue blending through the colors.  If the wipe gets too dry, it will not blend.  Just use a different spot and continue.
When you get to the last color you can blend some of it down, or just leave it as is.  Just make sure that the scribbles aren't real noticeable.  If you see a spot that you don't like, or have removed too much color in one area, you can always reapply more color and resume blending.  When you are done you should have something that looks like this.
At this point, you can cut it into any shape you want and use for your next project!  I hope this was helpful!  I find it a quick and easy way to make a background in a hurry!

Bewitching Time

Hey there! Deb 1 here with a fun little card featuring a gray haired witch and a sentiment that fits her perfectly!  I distressed the house by sanding the cardstock to give it a more aged look and left the grass semi-high so that the yard looks over grown. The stamp set used is called Witch, Please from Virginia Turtle Stamps!!  If you have never been to their store, check them out....they have lots of goodies. You will find a link to their page on the right side of our page!  Enjoy your Friday night!!

Thinking of you

Happy Friday!!!  I just LOVE the Everyday Panda set from Virginia Turtle!  I love the simplicity of this card. The butterfly was colored red, because to me it looked like two hearts. I cut the bamboo from the Life's a Beach cartridge from Cricut. The edges were distressed just to give it a different look. Thanks for looking!!
